Sofiia Nersesian is Ukraine's Junior Eurovision 2025 representative.

Ukraine have decided! Sofiia Nersesian will represent them at this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Georgia with her song “Montanka” (Rag Doll) after winning the national final.

The national final, hosted by Timur MiroshnychenkoMasha Kondratenko and Anna Tulyeva, saw six acts competing for the chance to become Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision 2025 representative. The final results were decided by 50% public vote and 50% jury vote, with the public being able to vote via the Diia app.

The jury panel was made up of three members:

  • Vlad Darwin – singer, songwriter
  • Natela Chkkartishvili-Zatsarynna – General Producer of television channels M1 and M2.
  • Michelle Andrade – singer

The final results saw Sofiia top the public vote, whilst Zlata Ivaniv & Vladyslav Vasytskyi won the jury vote. The final results are as follows: (public + jury)

  • Sofiia Nersesian – “Montanka” – 6 points + 5 points
  • Zlata Ivaniv & Vladyslav Vasytskyi – “Zorianyi chas” –  2 points + 6 points
  • Olha Nesterko – “Cuckoo” – 5 points + 3 points
  • Anhelina Hlohus – “Moye sertse” –  3 points + 4 points
  • Likeriia Chyrva – “Ne taka yak vsi” – 4 points _ 1 point
  • Vsevolod Skryma – “Young Heart” – 1 point + 3 points

We saw last years Ukrainian representative Artem Kotenko opening the show with his Junior Eurovision 2024 song “Hear Me Now”. Throughout the rest of the show, we saw host Masha KondratenkoAlyona Alyona (Eurovision 2024); Ziferblat (Eurovision 2025), as well as Svitlana Tarabova & BERESTOVYI performing.

Junior Eurovision 2025 will take place at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia, on Saturday 13th December, and will see a total of 18 countries participating, which includes returnees Azerbaijan, Croatia and Montenegro.
