The 51 songs that Portugal took to Eurovision: Who’s hot and who’s not?

It’s here! The 51 songs from Portugal’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest were evaluated, from their debut in 1964, with António Calvário, to the last live participation by Conan Osiris in 2019. The ranking was done by the most famous Portuguese music magazine, “Blitz”. From the glories to embarrassment, let’s see what came out!

Since 1964, Portugal has competed in the Eurovision Song Contest on 51 occasions. One occasion it won (Salvador Sobral), on others he made sparkles, and on other occasions it went home without glory. However, many times, behind frustrating results, great songs were hidden.
