Switzerland's running order position for the Eurovision 2025 final has been announced.
The Swiss representative for this years Eurovision Song Contest, Zoë Më, will be performing her song “Voyage” in 19th place in the final. This running order was randomly selected during the Heads of Delegation meeting in Basel today.
As host country, Switzerland automatically has a place in the final, alongside the “Big 5” countries – France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom.
The running order for the two semi finals will be determined by the show’s producers, and will take place in the coming weeks. We already know which countries will be competing in which semi final, after the allocation draw that took place in January. The full running order for the final is determined the day before the final itself.
Switzerland won Eurovision last year for the first time since 1988, bringing their total number of Eurovision wins to three, as Nemo topped the jury vote with an impressive 365 points, and achieved a top 5 televote placing. This years contest will be coming to Basel for the first time, with Switzerland’s two previous hostings being Lugano in 1956 and Lusanne in 1989.
24 year old singer-songwriter Zoë Më, was confirmed as Switzerland’s Eurovision 2025 representative just last week. With this announcement came the release of her entry for Basel, “Voyage”.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place on May 13th, 15th and 17th at St Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. We will see 37 countries competing, including Montenegro, who are returning to the contest for the first time since 2022.
