Sweden: Loreen among Melodifestivalen 2023 heat 4 qualifiers
Loreen and Smash Into Pieces have advanced to the Melodifestivalen 2023 final.
Heat 4 of Sweden’s national final took place tonight at the Malmö Arena in Malmö, hosted by Jesper Rönndahl and Farah Aradi. The two finalists were decided through 100% televoting.
The running order was as follows:
Kiana – “Where Did You Go”
Signe & Hjördis – “Edelweiss”
Smash Into Pieces – “Six Feet Under”
Mariette – “One Day”
Emil Henrohn – “Mera mera mera”
Axel Schylström – “Gorgeous”
Loreen – “Tattoo”
Loreen was announced as the winner of the heat with her song “Tattoo“. Her performance had to stopped halfway through and restarted due to a stage invader.
The remaining six acts were put into Round 2 of voting, which was won by Smash Into Pieceswith the song “Six Feet Under“.
Kiana with “Where Did You Go” and Mariette with “One Day” finished Round 2 in 2nd and 3rd respectively, advancing to the semi final, this means that Signe & Hjördis, Emil Henrohn and Axel Schylström have been eliminated
The Grand Final of Melodifestivalen takes place on March 4, currently through are:
