Sudden Lights to represent Latvia at Eurovision 2023

Sudden Lights will represent Latvia at Eurovision 2023 with their song "Aijā".

Sudden Lights are the winners of Supernova 2023 and will represent Latvia at Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool with their song “Aijā”. They beat off 9 other acts to be crowned the winners.

The show took place live from LTV Studios in Riga, hosted by Ketija Šēnberga and Lauris Reiniks. The interval act saw Eurovision 2019 winner Duncan Laurence performing.

The final results were decided by 50% jury vote and 50% televote. At the end of the voting, it was a tie between Sudden Lights and Patrisha. After some deliberation, it was confirmed that Sudden Lights were the winners, and would be going to Liverpool in May.
