Armenian broadcaster AMPTV have revealed the stage design for Junior Eurovision 2022.
The stage design, which has been revealed by the broadcaster today, features a large circular stage right in the centre of the arena, with seating all around in a circular shape, and a standing area right in front.

David Tserunyan, Executive Producer of Junior Eurovision 2022, has explained:
“The stage is a creative visual representation of the official artwork. The centre stage is the spinning top surrounded by strings of light that represent the ‘spinning’. These colourful strings are also reflected above the stage and radiate the energy from every single performance. While being minimalist, yet technologically advanced, the stage design offers multiple staging possibilities for all of the performers.”
“Our goal was to create a modern and technologically advanced stage that both reflects our vision and is versatile enough to fit the creative needs of the participating broadcasters. We have already started working with our colleagues from all 16 countries and are very excited to deliver a truly magical show this December!”
Junior Eurovision will return to Armenia for a second time this year, after previously hosting in 2011. The Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan will once again play host to the contest, and will “Spin The Magic” on December 11th. A total of 16 countries will be participating in the contest:
- Albania
- Armenia (host country)
- France
- Georgia
- Ireland
- Italy
- Kazakhstan
- Malta
- North Macedonia
- Poland
- Portugal
- Serbia
- Spain
- The Netherlands
- Ukraine
- United Kingdom (returning for the first time since 2005)
