The stage design and hosts for Junior Eurovision 2023 have been revealed.
The French broadcaster has revealed the stage for this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest, as well as the two hosts for the upcoming contest in Nice, France.
Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place at Palais Nikaïa in Nice, France, which can accommodate up to 5,000 people for the contest. Check out the stage renders here.
Alongside this news, we also know that there will be two hosts for this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest – Olivier Minne and Laury Thilleman. But who are they?
Olivier Minne
Many fans will remember Olivier Minne as being one of the co-hosts of Junior Eurovision 2021 in Paris. Alongside this, he has also worked on Eurovision too – he was the French spokesperson in 1992 and 1993, and was commentator for France from 1995 to 1997.
Aside from (Junior) Eurovision, he has had a long and extensive career in film and television, having hosted many famous French television shows, including: Matin Bonheur, Jeux sans frontières, La Cible and Fort Boyard, among many others. He has also appeared in many television movies between 2004 and 2017.
Laury Thilleman
Laury Thilleman is a French journalist, model, television presenter, actress and beauty pageant titleholder, having been crowned Miss France in 2011.
Her presenting career has seen Laury present popular French shows such as Victoires de la Musique and the Fête de la Musique. In 2013, she took part in Danse Avec Les Stars with her partner Maxime Dereymez. They finished in 7th place.
Junior Eurovision 2023 comes to France once again after Lissandro achieved the country’s second Junior Eurovision win in 2022 with “Oh Mamman”.
