On the 23rd of November 2020, Serbian group Hurricane were announced to represent their country in Eurovision 2021. They should have represented Serbia in 2020 (after winning Beovizja), however the contest had been cancelled, because of the pandemic, and they were unable to sing for Serbia in Rotterdam.
On the 17th of December, RTS (Serbian public broadcaster) announced that their song is going to be selected in a national final. On the 7th of February, Serbian private broadcaster – Televizija K1 reported that there is an option, that the contest won’t take place, because of Covid-19, and the song will be chosen internally. RTS didn’t comment on this topic yet.
Hurricane consists of three members: Sanja Vučić, who represented Serbia in 2016 with her song “Goodbye (Shelter)”, finishing 18th place in the grand final, Ivana Nikolić and Ksenija Knežević, who is Knez’s daughter and was a back singer for him in 2015, when he represented Montenegro with the song “Adio”, finishing 13th place in the grand final.

I am a fan off Serbia, but I like the more Ethnic sounding songs. Hurricane is not the kind off group that I like. And 3 young ladies who had there on career before they became a group is a major splitting alarm!
