After the renewal of Hurricane as representatives for the country in 2021, Serbia will return to bet on Beovizija as the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The guarantee was given by Olivera Kovacevic, editor-in-chief of RTS Entertainment, in an interview with New S, guaranteeing that the national final will take place, as usual, in February. Registration for the format will take place between June and November, with the rules and regulations to be launched in the coming weeks.

Beovizija has been used by Serbia to find their Eurovision representatives for many years. Most recently, it was used in 2020, with Hurricane as the winners with “Hasta La Vista”. After the cancellation of Eurovision 2020, Hurricane was automatically chosen by the broadcaster to return for Eurovision 2021.
