The opening ceremony for Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place on November 20th.

France Télévisions have announced that the opening ceremony for this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be taking place at 19:00 CET on Monday 20th November at Negresco hotel, along the Promenade des Anglais.

The opening ceremony will be co-hosted by French Junior Eurovision 2019 act and 2021 co-host, Carla Lazzari, and presenter Manon Théodet. Junior Eurovision 2023’s Digital Ambassador Ophénya will be welcoming all of the sixteen delegations alongside journalist Laura Tenoudji.

The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on France 4 and Okoo, and will feature commentary from Karim Ternane and Julia Gourand, who are both hosts of Okoo-Koo.

The former French Junior Eurovision representatives will be performing at the ceremony, and will all be accompanied by Pianist Van Toan.

Junior Eurovision 2023 takes place at Palais Nikaïa in Nice, France on November 26th. This is the second time that France hosts Junior Eurovision, the first time being in Paris in 2021. Lissandro brought France their second Junior Eurovision win last year with “Oh Mamman”.
