Italian public broadcaster RAI has revealed when Sanremo 2024 will be broadcasted.
First appointment, Sanremo Giovani
The first date to put on your calendar is the 20th December 2023, when the final of Sanremo Giovani is taking place.
Only three of the emerging artists performing on the night will be selected to participate in the big Festival, where they’ll have to present a different, unpublished song.
And then on to the big Festival
Sanremo Festival will take place as usual in the first half of February, starting on the 6th and closing on Saturday 10th.
Not much about next year’s festival is known for now, with the line-up and still under wrap, but one sure thing has already been revealed: the much-loved 2020 and 2021 co-host Fiorello is coming back to support his friend, the host Amadeus, for the final night.
Last year, Marco Mengoni won Sanremo with the song Due Vite, ending 4th at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
Which Italian artist would you like to see at Eurovision next year? Let us know in the comments!
