The festival of Italian music continues

The Italian national broadcaster RAI revealed the names that will participate in the next edition of the Sanremo festival. Every year, this show is one of the most exciting and high-quality national final of the season, gathering big and small names from the Italian music scene.

The next edition will feature 30 artists in the “big” section. The full lineup will be completed with the winners of Sanremo Giovani, announced during the competition’s final on December 10.

These are the 30 big artists that will take part in the next edition of Sanremo:

A swift insight into the lineup

The Sanremo 2025 lineup already sees some very exciting prospects, with old names, past Eurovision participants and new exciting artists.

Achille Lauro represented San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022, with “Stripper”.

Francesco Gabbani represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with “Occidentali’s Karma”, one of the most popular songs in Italy in recent years.

Francesca Michelin represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with “No degree of separation”.

The lineup sees past Sanremo artists, the most known among them being Willie Peyote, Noemi, Rose Villain, Irama, Giorgia and Elodie.

Some exciting new names to the competition will be sure to bring some spice to the show, such as Serena Brancale putting small italian dialects under the spotlight.

Sanremo 2025

Sanremo 2025 will take place across 5 nights, from February 11 to February 15 in the renowned Ariston Theatre. The songs competing will be heard for the first time during the first night of the show itself.

In 2024, Angelina Mango represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest with “La Noia”, placing 7th in the Grand Final with 268 points.
