The running order for the final of Melodifestivalen 2025 has been revealed.
Fresh from the fifth and final heat of Melodifestivalen 2025, and the subsequent qualification round, the running order for the final has been determined. The running order was put together by the contests producer, Karin Gunnarsson, who is excited for the hit-packed final next week.
“We have a glittering, hit-packed and fast-packed final. The starting field this year consists of the majority of women, which feels extra fun as this year’s final takes place on International Women’s Day. In addition, five of the starting field are debutants.”
The final of Melodifestivalen 2025 will take place in Strawberry Arena (formely Friends Arena) in Stockholm on March 8th. As with the five heats, Keyyo and Edvin Törnblom will be hosting the show. The final results will be decided by a mix of 50% televote and 50% international jury vote.
Reigning champions of Melodifestivalen, Norwegian twins Marcus & Martinus, went on to represent Sweden at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö with “Unforgettable”, having previously finished second to Loreen in Melodifestivalen 2023 with “Air”. At last years Eurovision Song Contest, they brought Sweden yet another top 10 placing, finishing the night in 9th place with 174 points.
