Ronela has won Festivali i Këngës and will represent Albania at Eurovision 2022

Ronela has been crowned the winner of Festivali i Këngës 60 and will go on to represent Albania at Eurovision 2022 in Turin with her song “Sekret”

Tonight’s show was hosted by Ardit Gjebrea, Isli Islami, Jonida Maliqi, Klevi Kadilli and Xhemi Shehu. After losing three newcomer acts in the semi final on December 27th – Kejsi Rustja, Viola Xhemali and Xhuliana Pjetra, a total of 17 acts were competing in tonight’s final.

5. Ester Zahiri – “Hiena”

6. Kastro Zizo – “Kujë

8. Gjergj Kaçinari – “Në ëndërr mbete ti

9. Evi Reçi – “Më duaj

10. Mirud – “Për dreq

11. Endri and Stefi Prifti – “Triumfi i jetës

12. Ronela Hajati – “Sekret”

13. Shega – “Një

14. Janex – “Deluzional

15. Alban Ramosaj – “Theje”

16. Eldis Arrnjeti – “Refuzoj

17. Rezarta Smaja – “E jemja nuse

The winner was decided soley by a seven member jury panel:

  • Agim Doçi
  • Anxhela Faber
  • Anxhela Peristeri (Eurovision 2021)
  • Olsa Toqi
  • Olti Curri
  • Osman Mula
  • Rozana Radi

 

The hosts announced the top 4 acts in a random order, who all took to the stage as “superfinalists”. Rezarta Smaja and Eldis Arrnjeti finished in joint third place, whilst Alban finished in second place.

The show saw a host of previous Albanian Eurovision acts performing Eurovision songs as part of the interval act. We had Eneda Tarifa singing “Euphoria”, Juliana Pasha singing “My Number One” and Jonida Maliqi singing “Wild Dances”.
