Romania Confirms Absence from Junior Eurovision 2021

Romania is another country that will not participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The news was confirmed to Eurofestivales.

TVR’s press department confirms that it will not compete in the juvenile event this year. This decision turns out not to be a surprise because from 2010, Romania have not entered the competition.

Romania participated in Junior Eurovision from 2003 until 2009. Their best result came in 2004 when Noni Răzvan Ene finished in 4th place with “”Îți mulțumesc”. Their worst result came in 2009 when they finished in last place with 19 points. Romania hosted Junior Eurovision in 2006 when the contest came to Bucharest.
