Results for Lithuania’s Pabandom iš naujo! Heat 2 revealed!

| January 23, 2021

Lithuania has chosen 5 more acts to advance further in the semi-final after last night’s Heat 2 of Pabandom iš naujo! (Let’s try again!).

“Fourth time’s the charm” seems to be working for Gebrasy (real name Audrius Petrauskas), who’s participating this year for the fourth time as his mid-tempo track Where’d You Wanna Go? emerged victorious among the 10 participants, after his simple yet heartfelt performance captivated highest votes both from the 5-member jury and public televotes. He was followed by other qualifiers Gabrielius Vagelis with My Guy, Evita Cololo with Be paslapčių, Norbertas with Man in Need, and Aistė Brokenleg with Home. The scores were determined by a combined 50% jury votes and 50% televote.

The jury included Editor-in-Chief LRT Popular Music Ramūnas Zilnys, songwriter Vytautas Bikus, singer/songwriter Ieva Narkutė, LRT host Gerūta Griniūtė, and singer/songwriter Stanislavas Stavickis-Stano.

This heat’s qualified acts will then be competing against the other 5 acts who advanced from last week’s heat 1 during the semi-final on January 30, where only 5 acts will qualify to the final on February 6. Vilnius will witness the finalists face off with automatic grand final automatic qualifier and last year’s winners The Roop and their song Discoteque, which they performed last night as an interval, in a bid to give the Baltic country its first win in the Eurovision Song Contest.
