Spanish broadcaster TVE has rejoiced us with the information that Benidorm Fest 2023 will start off with a bang during a huge presentation event on July 19th.

And that will only be the beginning for this edition of the spectacle! With this presentation event, Spain is letting everyone know they are not playing and they are going for that Eurovision gold in 2023.

Just like we have seen last time around, Benidorm Fest will kick off with a press conference where RTV and representatives of the Generalitat Valenciana will give the media some more information about the Benidorm Fest 2023 preparations. But the real party begins after the sun has set and the huge event will take place.

Benidorm in concert

Just imagine it; The golden Benidorm beach, a light breeze in the air and the biggest artists of the first  Benidorm Fest on stage. Sounds pretty good right? Well that is exactly what you can expect from the event that will take place on July 19th.

We don’t know for sure, but it is very likely Chanel will also take the stage to perform her song SloMo which gave Spain their highest performing Eurovision song since 1995.

What else do we know about Benidorm Fest 2023?

The news of this huge event is not the first details we know about the Spanish selection for Eurovision 2023.

Earlier this year, RTVE en de Generalitat Valenciana have already revealed that Palau De L’Illa will double the capacity for the new edition and fans will be welcomed to the Benidorm Fest Village.

Since they are not expecting new COVID- measures next year, they will make Benidorm Fest 2023 a big spectacle for fans filled with music and joy.

The first edition of Benidorm Fest was a huge success! The watching numbers were amazing and it got Spain very excited for the Eurovision Song Contest. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest remains one of the most watched edition in Spain yet!
