Serbia’s public broadcaster Radio-televizija Srbije has already opened entries for the 2022 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, however, no details on entry rules or the format of Beovizija have been revealed , selective for the event.
As an independent country, Serbia participated for the first time in the competition in the 2007 edition, the year in which it achieved its only victory to date, with the song “Molitva”, sung by Marija Šerifović. In 2021, the country was represented by the Hurricane, with the theme “Loco Loco”, reaching 15th place.
