Registration for the 2022 edition of UMK (Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu) Finland's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest since 2012, is now open. Interested parties have until September 6th to submit their entries to Yleisradio, the country's state broadcaster.
Finland debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has already won once: in 2006, with Lordi and the song "Hard Rock Hallellujah". In 2021, the country was represented by Blind Channel, with the song "Dark Side", having reached the 6th place.
