In an exciting conclusion to Depi Evratesil 2025, Parg has been selected to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. His compelling performance of “Survivor” captivated both the jury and the public, securing his spot on the international stage.

About Parg

Born Pargev Vardanian, Parg is an Armenian artist known for blending traditional Armenian elements with modern soundscapes, encompassing genres such as indie-folk, R&B, pop, and rock. In 2021, he released his debut single, “Ginin u Grely”, introducing audiences to his distinctive sound. His most recent single, “Araj”, was nominated for Best Music Video at the Armenian Music Video Awards.

“Survivor” is a powerful anthem that showcases Parg’s unique ability to fuse contemporary sounds with Armenian musical traditions. The song’s inspiring lyrics and dynamic arrangement resonated with audiences, leading to its victory at Depi Evratesil 2025.

Depi Evratesil 2025 Highlights

The national selection event took place on February 16, 2025, at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan. The show was hosted by Aram Mp3 and Ani Khachikyan. The competition featured twelve finalists, including notable artists such as Anahit Adamyan, Athena Manoukian, and Simon. Parg’s performance stood out, earning him the top spot. 

Armenia’s Eurovision Journey

Since debuting in 2006, Armenia has achieved several Top 10 finishes at Eurovision. Notably, Sirusho (2008) and Aram Mp3 (2014) both secured 4th place finishes. In recent years, Rosa Linn (2022) gained international acclaim with her song “Snap,” which went viral on TikTok and amassed over a billion streams on Spotify. With Parg’s “Survivor,” Armenia aims to continue this tradition of strong performances and is hopeful for a successful outcome at Eurovision 2025.
