Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision 2021 representative, Oleksandr Balabanov, has released a new single “Wild”. The song is available on all major streaming platforms and YouTube.

“Wild” is the debut single from Oleksandr’s upcoming EP-album, due to be released in spring 2022. Oleksandr has written and produced the song himself, whilst Mykhailo Klymenko is responsible for the mixing and mastering of the song.

The song, sung entirely in English, is very ethereal and somewhat mysterious, and is in a similar style to his Junior Eurovision song. “Wild” showcases Oleksandr’s versatile vocals, and shows off an impressive talent.

The music video is visually eye catching and captivating. We see Oleksandr in various different locations, from the woods to the beach, and even to a car park, briging along his trusty chair with him.

Oleksandr Balabanov was crowned the winner of Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision national final in October 2020 with his song “Vidkryvai”. At the contest, hosted live from Warsaw, Oleksandr achieved 7th place with 106 points.

Oleksandr has been playing music since the age of 4, and has been singing since age 8. Despite his young age, the 15 year old singer already has an impressive resume under his belt, from Junior Eurovision to the Slavianski Bazaar. His new single release and upcoming EP is just another step forward in Oleksandr’s career.
