It has been confirmed that French DJ duo Ofenbach will be the opening act for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 that will take place in Paris this December. The news was revealed on an evening news broadcast on France 2.
The Paris based DJ’s are made up of Dorian Lauduique and César de Rummel. They are one of the biggest names in the French music scene, having ammassed over 1.7 billion streams on Spotify, with 16 platinum singles and 15 gold singles to their name.
The duo, who’s style can be described as a mix of rock, pop and dance, have collaborated with the likes of Eurovision alumni Benjamin Ingrosso, Ed Sheeran and Ella Henderson, as well as Pony X from France’s Eurovision 2021 national final. Their big break came in 2016 with the release of their internationally famous hit “Be Mine”.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place at La Seine Musicale in Paris on December 19th. A total of 19 acts will take to the stage, with Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Ireland, Italy, North Macedonia and Portugal all making their return to the contest.
