Thousands of Eurovision fans now have the opportunity to ride with National Express for only £2.50 by bus. What do you need to know about this deal? We lay it out for you.
National Express coach rides to the Eurovision Song Contest 2023
This year, the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Liverpool who will be hosting the contest on behalf of Ukraine. Eurovision fans from all over the world will travel to the UK to get a glimpse of the contest in Liverpool.
Traveling can be very expensive, which is why National Express has launched a special Eurovision deal for the fans who are traveling to the Liverpool Arena.
They have come up with a special bus service, which is running transfers from Manchester Chorlton Street coach station all the way to the Liverpool One Bus Station form just £2.50!
This deal is active during the main weekend of the Eurovision Song Contest, taking place from May 1st.
Cheap bus tickets will be available throughout the entire week and prices will vary between £2.50 and £3, depending on the date.
Why would you take the bus?
The Eurovision Song Contest is one of Europe’s biggest events. A lot of Eurovision fans from all over the world will be traveling to Liverpool to see one of the shows. Which means trains can be very busy. It is expected that National Express will provide a quieter travel to Liverpool compared to direct trains.
Trains and tracks also need to be maintained from time to time. As it turns out, trains may be affected by engineering works on May 12th. This has not been officially confirmed but direct trains form Manchester Piccadilly that day are appearing on Trainline with a yellow warning sign, warning travelers that engineering work may be planned.
To be safe, you can choose toi take the bus line provided by National Express.

The Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool will take place from May 8th trough May 13th with a total of 9 shows fans can experience.
These shows are:

- Semi-Final One Afternoon Preview Show on Tuesday 9th 13:30 BST
- Semi-Final One Live Show on Tuesday 9th 20:00 BST
- Semi-Final Two Evening Preview Show on Wednesday May 10th 20:00 BST
- Semi-Final Two Afternoon Preview Show on Thursday May 11th 13:30 BST
- Semi-Final Two Live Show on Thursday May 11th 20:00 BST
- Grand Final Evening Preview Show on Friday May 12th 20:00 BST
- Grand Final Afternoon Preview Show on Saturday May 13th 13:30 BST
- Grand Final Live Show on Saturday May 13th 20:00 BST
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday March 7th 13:00 CET and will be available on Ticketmaster.
