Nare Ghazaryan will represent Armenia at Junior Eurovision 2022

Nare Ghazaryan has been selected to represent host nation Armenia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

Public Television Company of Armenia (AMPTV) Executive Producer Davit Tserunyan said the 14-year-old was chosen during the audition process. 

Details of Nare’s song are yet to be revealed. 

Armenia at Junior Eurovision

Armenia one of the most successful countries at Junior Eurovision since debuting in 2007,  with 8 top 3 finishes and always placing inside the top 10. 

After being runners up 2 of their 3 years, Armenia got their first victory in 2010 when Vladimir Arzumanyan took home the trophy with his song “Mama” (Մամա).

Armenia earned their second victory last year in Paris with Maléna and her song “Qami Qami” (Քամի Քամի). Safe to say that Nare some big shoes to fill this year for the reigning champions.
