I don’t know about you guys, but my mind is still full of images of the peace-signed hand Germany blessed us with on the Eurovision stage this year. But it seems like next year we might see a completely different act from Germany! Metalcore band Eskimo Callboy applied for their spot on that Eurovision stage in Turin, to represent Germany.
Who are Eskimo Callboy?
Eskimo Callboy is a band from Castrop-Rauxel, Germany and they are known for their freshly styled mullets and moustaches and of course their metalcore music.
They have had some pretty big successes, with their single ‘Hypa Hypa’ hitting the 21 million plays at the popular streaming portals and 11 million views on Youtube – and the trend is still rising!
In their application video, you can also tell their success by the fact of their many sold out shows!
Eskimo Callboy's application for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022
Their application video is already one to remember. They clearly don’t take themselves to seriously. The video is packed with humor and a high energy workout music video. And, honestly, a really catchy song that is very different than what we’ve seen from Germany this year with Jendrik. Check out their application in the video below and let us know what you think!
