Montenegro has selected NeonoeN with their song “Clickbait” to represent the nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. The selection was made during the national final, Montesong 2024, held on November 27 in Podgorica. It is the first song selected for Basel 2025.
NeonoeN’s performance of “Clickbait” stood out for its unconventional and avant-garde presentation, featuring a blend of electronic beats and striking visuals. The staging included abstract imagery and choreography that left a memorable impression on the audience.
The decision was determined through a combination of jury votes and public televoting. NeonoeN emerged as the winner, surpassing other strong contenders such as Nina Žižić and Milena Vučić.
Montenegro’s return to Eurovision after a two-year hiatus is marked by this bold choice, aiming to make a significant impact on the international stage. The country’s best result to date was in 2015, when Knez achieved 13th place with “Adio.”
