Eurovision.tv have reported that one member of Daði og Gagnamagnið has tested positive for COVID-19 today (Wednesday 19th May). All other members of the band have tested negative.
As a result of this, Daði og Gagnamagnið have made the decision to withdraw from performing in this years live shows as they only want to perform together as a group. Their song will remain in the contest, and their rehearsal performance from May 13th will be used for their semi final performance.
The Icelandic delegation will remain in quarantine, and will be closely monitored by the Dutch health authorities. When we will know any more information, we will be sure to keep you updated.
