Melodi Grand Prix 2021: Semi final 1 results are in!

The first semi final of Melodi Grand Prix 2021 took place tonight in Norway, with four acts competing for a place in the final. The four acts were split into two duels, who each competed against each other to try and win a place in the super duel. The winner of each duel was decided by the act with the most votes on the NRK app and website.

In the first duel, we had Stina Talling and her song “Elevate” competing against “Beady Belle” and her song “Playing With Fire”. The second duel saw Jorn with “Faith Bloody Faith” go up against Blåsemafian feat. Hazel with their song “Let Loose”.

Stina won the first duel and went up against Blåsemafian feat. Hazel in the super duel for a chance to qualify to the final. The winner of the super duel, and the first qualifier to the final is Blåsemafian feat. Hazel. The winner was decided by 100% televoting.

Alongside the four semi finalists, the first two pre-qualified finalists performed their entries, and this week, it was the turn of KEiiNO and TIX, who performed “Monument” and “Ut av mørket” respectively.
