Armenian broadcaster ARMTV have confirmed that Maléna Fox will represent Armenia at this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Paris, with her song expected to drop in the coming days.

Maléna was initially chosen to represent Armenia at Junior Eurovision 2020 with her song “Why”, but she never made it to the contest as Armenia withdrew due to the political situation in the country and because of the COVID pandemic.

Armenia’s Junior Eurovision debut got off to a great start as the group Arevik finished in second place, just one point behind winners Belarus. The country has participated in every year up until 2020, when they withdrew due to political and COVID reasons.

Armenia have been very successful in Junior Eurovision. They have won the contest once, in 2010 with Vladimir Arzumanyan, and have had a further six top 5 finishes.
