Could Let 3 come back to the Eurovision stage for a second time?
That’s right, if Let 3’s performance at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool left you wanting more then you could be in for a treat in the years to come. Let 3, of course represented Croatia in Liverpool, and were one of this year’s most memorable performances which earned them many public votes.
The legendary Croatian band had a very successful result in Liverpool; although they scored only 11 points with the jury (25th place), they won the heart’s of the public with a staggering 112 points in the televote (7th place). These results combined earned Let 3 a very satisfying 13th place, scoring 123 points overall.
Following their success at the contest, Let 3 have recently responded to media saying “Never say never, Why not?”, when asked about a possible Dora/Eurovision return. This news comes on the eve of the band’s biggest open air concert, which is set to be held in Salanta in Zagreb.
One of Let 3’s leading band members, Prlja expressed how incredible the Eurovision experience was for him and his fellow band members. From the very start of the Croatian National Final competition “Dora”, held by Croatian broadcaster HRT, to performing live in the Grand Final in Liverpool. Prlja shared that “The whole story about ‘Mama SC!’ is something that marked our entire year in 2023. What we remember is the tremendous positive energy of the organizers, production team, performers and audience, as well as feeling pride for being part of that story”.
