This week, the Irish Public Broadcaster RTÉ announced some more details about their Eurovision 2021 song release, “Maps” by Lesley Roy.

The artist, Lesley Roy, was chosen by the Irish broadcaster to represent them in 2020; so the way of releasing her song in 2021 will be very similar to her 2020 song release

Firstly, between 7AM and 10AM CET on Friday, 26th of February, the song will be played on 2FM Radio during the program “2FM Breakfast with Doireann and Eoghan”.

After that, the artist’s song will be released on streaming platforms like Youtube, where we will be able to watch the music video, which was recorded on the eastern Irish coast.

There will also be the possibility to hear the song live on The Late Late Show hosted by Ryan Tubridy on RTÉ One, on the Friday evening.

Like last year, the song was composed by Roy. This year, she co-operated with Lucas Hallgren (composer of “She Got Me” – Switzerland 2019), Philip Strand, Emelie Eriksson and Deepend.
