Festivali i Këngës 59 winner and Albania’s Eurovision 2021 representative Anxhela Peristeri has answered the question we’ve all been asking since she claimed her victory – Will Karma be translated into English for Eurovision?
The answer is no, Karma will be remaining in Albanian! In an interview with Eurovision Buddies, Anxhela explained that she had always thought if she won, the song would remain in Albanian.
Anxhela Peristeri was selected by a jury at Albanian Eurovision national final Festivali i Këngës on December 23. Sardi Struga came in second place, and Festina Mejzini finished third.
At Eurovision 2021, due to be held in Rotterdam next May, Anxhela will be performing in the second half of the second semi-final.
