Lithuanian broadcaster LRT have revealed that the voting jury will be expanded for the Pabandom iš naujo final on Saturday. In previous years, a jury of five voters have helped to pick the nations Eurovision entry, however this year there is expected to be eight jury members voting for the Eurovision 2021 participant for Lithuania.
Assumingly due to COVID-19 restrictions, as there is an increased number of jurors they will not be present in the studio to vote.
Who's competing in the final?
Six artists will be competing in the final for the ultimate prize of representing Lithuania at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in May. The finalists include The Roop, who won Pabandom iš naujo 2020 with On Fire, however could not compete at the Eurovision Song Contest due to its cancellation following the coronavirus pandemic. When it was announced the Lithuanian national final would return, it was also made clear that The Roop would advance straight to the final.
