Today, France Télévision has revealed details about the staging for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 which will be held in Paris and first of all: It is impressive! And very French.

The capital of France has a huge impact on the stage design. The nickname for it is “the City of Light” which obviously refers to the Eiffel Tower, one of the most iconic buildings in the whole world. In addition to that, the stage has a huge performance area including two bridges as they can be seen in the city of Paris which gives the performers a lot of different opportunities for their show.
The show will take place on Sunday the 19th of December at the La Seine Musicale in Paris which is next to the Seine river. This venue has been opened in 2017 and is one of the most beautiful venues in Europe. Therefore, it is perfect to host the 19th edition of the JESC which takes place in France after last year’s victory with the song “J’imagine” performed by Valentina. 19 (seems to be an important number here) countries have confirmed their participation which are 7 more than in 2020.
