The Dutch representative at Junior Eurovision 2015, Shalisa van der Laan, has revealed on her social media that she is at the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam as a stand in artist for this years Eurovision. It is not known which country she will be singing for.
The stand in rehearsals, which are used to make sure that the lighting and camera work are all in order for each country’s performance, began on Thursday 29th April, ahead of the first rehearsals beginning on Saturday 8th May at 10:00 CET.
Shalisa won Junior Songfestival 2015 and went on to represent her country at that years Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Sofia, Bulgaria. She finished in 15th place with 35 points singing her song “A Million Lights”. Since Junior Eurovision, Shalisa has continued to sing, as well as dabbling in voice acting. Her latest single “Karma” was released in April 2021.
