Junior Eurovision 2022: where to watch and how to vote

As we gear up for the 20th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan, Armenia, on December 11th 2022, let’s take a look at where you can watch the contest and how you can vote.

Where can I watch Junior Eurovision 2022?

In the United Kingdom, the final of Junior Eurovision 2022 will be broadcast live on BBC One, CBBC and BBC iPlayer on Sunday, December 11th at 15:00 GMT.

For the other 15 participating countries in Junior Eurovision 2022, these television channels will be broadcasting the contest live:

  • Armenia – AMPTV
  • France – France 2
  • Georgia – 1TV
  • Ireland – TG4
  • Italy – Rai 1
  • Kazakhstan – Khabar TV
  • Poland – TVP1, TVP Polonia, TVP, ABC
  • Portugal – RTP1, RTPi
  • Serbia – RTS 2
  • Spain – La 1, TVE Internacional, TVE 4K
  • The Netherlands – NPO 3

It has yet to be announced which television channels will be broadcasting Junior Eurovision 2022 in Albania, Malta, North Macedonia and Ukraine.

For those without access to any of these channels, the contest will be broadcast live on the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel.

How can I vote in Junior Eurovision 2022?

The results of Junior Eurovision are decided by a mix of 50% jury vote and 50% online vote. Anyone from any country in the world is able to vote in Junior Eurovision via the online voting platform.

In order to vote online, you will need to go to Once there, you will be asked to sign in to vote. If you are voting from within the United Kingdom, you will need to sign in with your BBC account in order to vote. Once you have signed in, you will be redirected to the official online voting page.

Once in the official online voting page, there will be a preview of all the performances. Once you have watched all of the previews, you will have the opportunity to vote for up to 3 countries, including your own country!

The first round of online voting will open on Friday, December 9th at 19:00 GMT, and will remain open until just before the live show on Sunday, December 11th. After all the songs have been performed on Sunday, online voting will re-open for approximatley 15 minutes, where you will be able to vote again for up to 3 countries, including your own.
