English translation
Every, every day
My eyes are open and I’m looking out at midnight
Far, far away
To the bright stars that fall down dancing
Stars gonna dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance with me side to side
Dance, dance, dance tonight
We gonna dance, dance, dance, dance
Swinging it left to right
Turning off the lights
Oo, oo, oo, oo, oo…
Dance tonight
Oo, oo, oo, oo, oo…
Dance tonight
My heart rose
Above the clouds and it won’t come back down
And it is better
Our hearts don’t smile without each other
Stars gonna dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance with me side to side
Dance, dance, dance tonight
We gonna, dance, dance, dance, dance
Swinging it left to right
Turning off the lights
Up and down, down and up, up and down
Take it easy
Left and right, take a step forward, take a step forward
Then take one back
Up and down, down and up, up and down
Our heads are spinning around
Up and down, come and go, go and come
Cool dance
Oo, oo, oo, oo, oo…
Dance tonight
Oo, oo, oo, oo, oo…
Dance tonight
Stars gonna dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance with me side to side
Dance, dance, dance tonight
We gonna, dance, dance, dance, dance
Swinging it left to right
Turning off the lights
Armenia at Junior Eurovision
Armenia joined the Junior Eurovision family in 2007, and have since cemented themselves as one of the most successful countries in the contest, having always finished on the left hand side of the scoreboard.
In their 15 participations, Armenia have finished in the top 5 on nine occassions, wracking up an impressive two wins (2010 and 2021), four second places, two third places and one fifth place.
The country has only been absent from the contest once, in 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the situation in the country at the time, Armenia withdrew from the contest. Their representative, Maléna, was invited back by the broadcaster for the 2021 contest.
Following on from Vladimir Arzumanyan’s win in 2010 with “Mama”, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest came to Armenia for the first time in. The final took place at the Karen Demirchyan Sports Complex in Yerevan on December 3rd, 2011, and was won by the group “Candy” from Georgia.
