Serbian broadcaster RTS has confirmed that Jovana Radonjić and Dunja Živković will be representing Serbia at this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest. They will be singing the song “Oči deteta” (Children’s Eyes), which has been written by Anna Frlin.
RTS received a total of seven submissions for this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The selection process was split in to three stages.
- Stage 1: An expert jury panel listened to, and reviewed, the demo versions of all seven submissions.
- Stage 2: Four acts were invited to sing “live” in front of the jury panel in Studio 6 of Radio Belgrade. Each of these performances was audio recorded.
- Stage 3: Three acts advanced to the final stage. Their audio recordings were listened to RTS music editors, who rated each song with 3 points to their first place, 2 points to second place and 1 point to last place.
Tara Šujeranović and her song “Osmeh”; Veljko Kovacevic and his song “In Good and In Evil” and Sara Simic & Tomislav Bozovic with their song “Dream Child” made it to the top four and the second stage.
Jovana was born on January 19th 2011 in Novi Sad. In 2016, she took part in the popular Balkan singing show “Pinkove Zvedzice”, where she finished in second place. Since then, she is continuing with singing lessons as well as playing piano. In 2020, she joined “La La Studio” where she is studying singing.
Dunja was born on July 22nd 2010 in Novi Sad. From the age of three, she attended the music workshop “Do Re Mi”. She is currently studying singing and the piano at the music school “Isidor Bajić”, and also attends the “La La Studio”.
