Hooverphonic are set to embark on a European tour later this year.
The iconic band has 27 shows lined up across Europe starting in Spa, Belgium on the 25th of July and playing their penultimate show in Hérouville-Saint-Clair, France in December, with a final show in Belgium in June 2022.
Hooverphonic represented Belgium at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest finishing 13th with the juries and 22nd in the televote resulting in a 19th place finish overall.
Their song ‘The Wrong Place’ is a sultry blues record that tells of a tumultuous one-night stand. The final line of the chorus warns the estranged lover that they should stay well away from lead-singer Geike’s “Johnny Cash t-shirt”!
