With only 3 points from the jury and the televoters nul points, Germany was in the penultimate place in the Final of Eurovision 2021, being the second consecutive time in which the country is among the last positions of the scoreboard. In an interview with ESCKompact, Alexandra Wolfslast, head of the country’s delegation, admits that the station will carry out a “self-critical analysis”, admitting changes in the selection process for next year.

“The same model works very well in Switzerland, but it didn’t give us a good rating” stressed the head of delegation, ensuring that the German delegation will be meeting in the coming days to discuss the plans for the next edition of the competition, “All that I could say it would be pure speculation. I think it’s easy to understand the reasons why we are reviewing the selection process and considering what we can change for the future.”

Do you think Germany should change their selection method, or do you think they should keep it as it is? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
