Go_A have recorded the final version of ‘Шум’ for Eurovision 2021

Ukranian representatives for Eurovision 2021 Go_A have revealed that the final version of their entry Шум has been recorded.

Band member Taras Shevchenko explained in an interview with UA:Ukrainian Radio that the final version has been recorded and is awaiting release. He added:

"the version we have now for Eurovision, it’s great. That is, it retains all the elements that make the song “Noise” interesting and cool."

Go_A have also shot a new music video for the Eurovision version of Шум, and they will both be released at the beginning of March.

Who are Go_A?

Go_A are a Ukrainian electro-folk band formed in Kyiv. Current members of Go_A are vocalist Kateryna Pavlenko, Taras Shevchenko, Ihor Didenchuk and Ivan Hryhoriak. The band gained prominence in Ukraine by combining traditional folk sounds with electronic music and have had many successful singles and their debut album Idy na zvuk. 

In 2020, Go_A won the Ukrainian Eurovision selection Vidbir with Solovey.

They were due to represent Ukraine at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, however due to the contests cancellation this was not possible. On the same day of the cancellation, Ukranian broadcaster UA:PBC announced that Go_A will still represent them at the 2021 contest.
