They are one of the founding countries of the Eurovision Song Contest, and are one of the most successful, having won five times. In July, the broadcaster announced they would be organising a national final to find their Eurovision 2024 representative.
Luxembourg’s first Eurovision representative since 1993 is 23 year old Tali Golergant, who is of Israeli and Peruvian origins. Born in Israel, she subsequently moved to South America, where she lived for many years, before settling in Limpertsberg, Luxembourg, where she lived for ten years.
Tali has been invested in music and performing since a young age, starting the piano at age seven, before studying singing, songwriting and acting in theatre when she was twelve years old. She has recently moved to New York City to study musical theatre at Marymount Manhattan College. In 2021 she released her first EP “Lose You”.
