Three countries have their running order determined for Junior Eurovision 2024 final.
At a Heads of Delegation meeting which took place earlier today, a draw was held to determine which position host country Spain would perform in, as well as determining which countries would be opening and closing the show on November 16th. Spain’s Chloe DelaRosa will be performing in 10th place, with Italy’s Simone Grande opening the show and Malta’s Ramires Sciberras closing the show.
The random draw was overseen by the Heads of Delegation of all the participating countries in this years contest. The full running order will be put together closer to the contest. In previous years, the host country running order, and the opening and closing countries, were determined at the Opening Ceremony for Junior Eurovision.
This year marks the first time that Italy will perform in first place, and the first time Malta will close the show. Spain will also be performing in 10th place for the first time in Junior Eurovision.
Junior Eurovision 2024 takes place in Spain for the first time, on November 16th at Caja Mágica in Madrid. 17 countries will be participating, including two returning countries Cyprus and San Marino, who last participated in 2017 and 2015 respectively. The show will be hosted by Ruth Lorenzo (Spain Eurovision 2014); Marc Clotet and Melani García (Spain Junior Eurovision 2019)
