Eurovision stars have won big at this years MTV EMA's.
Despite the MTV EMA’S not going ahead this year due to the “volatility of world events”, the awards were still handed out, on November 5th, and it was a big night for many Eurovision stars.
It was a great night for Måneskin, who won not one, but two MTV EMA’s. They picked up “Best Rock Act” for a second year, having won the same award in 2021, and also won “Best Italian Act”. Fellow Eurovision 2021 alumni Gjon’s Tears won “Best Swiss Act” for a second time, the first being in 2021.
The line-up for “Best Nordic Act” saw three Eurovision stars all in the running for this award, for the first time ever in the history of the MTV EMA’s. Eurovision 2023 stars Alessandra, Käärijä and Loreen all found themselves competing against each other once again, but this time, it was Käärijä who reigned supreme, going on to be crowned “Best Nordic Act”.
