The first #EurovisionAgain was held on 21 March 2020, when fans across Europe rewatched Malmö 2013 in sync as lockdown gripped the continent. Over 14 weeks, fans tweeted along with rebroadcasts of past Eurovision contests and raised almost 30 000€ for various charities. The hashtag #EurovisionAgain trended in several countries. At its peak, the shows were watched by 127,000 viewers on YouTube.
The synchronised re-watch parties will return on the third Saturday of each month in 2021, starting today!
The broadcasts’ dates are the following:
- Saturday 19 June
- Saturday 17 July
- Saturday 21 August
- Saturday 18 September
- Saturday 16 October
- Saturday 20 November
After these shows, #EurovisionAgain will take a break for Junior Eurovision and the 2022 National Final Season.
