Nemo from Switzerland has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2024!

The grand final of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest has concluded tonight in Malmö, Sweden, hosted by Petra Mede and Malin Åkerman. Following on from Joost Klein’s disqualification from the Eurovision 2024 grand final earlier today, we only saw 25 acts competing tonight.

Switzerland, France, Croatia, Italy and Ukraine were the top five countries with the jury vote. Nemo topped the jury vote with 365 points, 25 points more than Loreen achieved in 2023, wracking up an impressive 22 sets of 12 points. Baby Lasagna of Croatia however topped the televote with 337 points. Israel, Ukraine, Switzerland and France completed the top 5 of the televote.

Nemo’s Eurovision win marks the first time that a non-binary person has won the Eurovision Song Contest.
