Eurovision 2023 to be broadcast in cinemas across Ireland

Eurovision 2023 is coming to cinemas across Ireland!

Film distribution company Break Out Pictures has announced that Eurovision 2023 will be coming to cinemas across Ireland between May 9th and May 13th.

This is the first time that Ireland will be showing Eurovision in cinemas, and Robert McCann, co-founder of Break Out Pictures, couldn’t be happier that Eurovision is coming to the big screen:

“We’re delighted to partner with RTÉ to bring the Eurovision to cinemas in Ireland. The Eurovision is a beloved annual event and we’re thrilled to offer fans the chance to watch it on the big screen, where they can feel like they’re part of the action.”

Head of Delegation for Ireland at Eurovision, Michael Kealy, has also weighed in on the decision to screen Eurovision in cinemas: The Eurovision Song Contest is the biggest live music show in the world so it’s really great that fans are getting the opportunity to watch this brilliant event on the big screen.”

All Omniplex cinema’s will be screening Eurovision 2023, along with Century Complex in Letterkenny, Eye Cinema in Galway and The Arc Cinema in Navan.

Tickets to see Eurovision 2023 in the cinema in Ireland will be available to purchase from participating cinemas.

Eurovision 2023 takes place between May 9th and May 13th in Liverpool, United Kingdom, on behalf of Eurovision 2022 winners, Ukraine.

Ireland will be performing in 6th place in semi final 1 of Eurovision 2023 on Tuesday 9th May with “We Are One” by Wild Youth.
