We have our first 10 qualifiers for the Eurovision 2023 grand final!
Semi final 1 of Eurovision 2023 took place this evening at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool. A total of 15 acts were performing for 10 spots in the grand final, which takes place on Saturday 13th May.

The semi final opened with a film celebrating host city Liverpool and the welcome given to Ukraine. The film took us in to arena, where it ended with host Julia Sanina performing “Маяк” (Lighthouse) by her band, The Hardkiss.
The interval act saw global superstar Rita Ora perform a medly of some of her biggest hits ahead of the premier of her brand new song “Praising You”. In addition to this, Ukraine’s Eurovision 2010 representative Alyosha and Liverpudlian singer-songwriter Rebecca Ferguson performed a haunting arrangement of “Ordinary World” by Duran Duran.
The second semi final of Eurovision takes place on Thursday 11th May, where a further 16 acts will be competing for the final 10 places in the grand final.
