Eurovision 2023: Estonia to offer commentary in sign language

Estonia will be offering Eurovision 2023 commentary in sign language.

ERR’s web channel, Jupiter, will be offering commentary for Eurovision 2023 in sign language, provided by the NGO Estonian sign language society.

For the past few years now, the Estonian sign language society has provided sign language commentary for viewers of Eurovision in Estonia.

Roza Petrova, Merlin Püss, Mari-Liis Ungerson, Hele-Riin Karja, Bella Kurg and Yegor Andrejev will be accompanying all 37 songs in this years Eurovision Song Contest with sign language commentary. Roza Petrova will be the author and performer for the Estonia act Alika and her song “Bridges”.

In addition to all of the 37 songs of Eurovision 2023, the broadcasts of all three live shows of Eurovision 2023 will also be translated into Estonian sign language by the Estonian sign language society.

Estonia will be represented by 20 year old Alika Milova at Eurovision 2023, who won Eesti Laul with her song “Bridges”. She will perform in 4th place in semi final 2 on Thursday 11th May.
