As Eurovision week is coming to an end, and while we can’t wait to see all the acts, here is a tour with our special guide Nicoletta, to all the postcard locations... buon viaggio!
The Big 5
France
Alvan and Ahez’s postcard will show the town of Cavour, in Turin, the birthplace of an 1800 Italian statesman, and its paddyfield.
Germany
Malik Harris’ postcard will show the Lingotto area, a district of Turin, where the old Fiat factory used to be. This area has been modernized to host the 2016 Winter Olympic Village.
Italy
Mahmood and Blanco will do the honours from the Mole Antonelliana, the symbol of Turin. From the top of it, you can have a fabulous view of the city, and the Alps just behind it
Spain
Chanel’s postcard will feature Alagna Valsesia, the freeride capital of the Alps and Unesco heritage site, built at the slope of Monte Rosa.
United Kingdom
Sam Ryder’s postcard will fly over the town of Orta San Giulio, and the near Legro village, where the walls have been painted with images representing movies filmed in the area.
